Discipleship Ministries

Brotherhood of St. Andrew

The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew is a worldwide missionary and evangelism ministry among the oldest in the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion. The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is organized around three disciplines: prayer, study, and service. Their mission is the spread of Christ’s kingdom, especially among men and youth. They meet each month for refreshments, a worship liturgy, discussion of business, and Bible study. Our parish chapter engages in pastoral care for parishioners and others in our communities, support of activities intended to involve men and youth in the life of the church, and in assistance in other areas of parish life with time and resources. Meetings are Saturday mornings and can be found on our calendar. New members and visitors are always welcome.

Cursillo

Cursillo is a movement of the Episcopal Church with intentions to restore all people to unity with God and unity with each other through Christ.. Fill your heart by spending a few days away from life’s distractions and take your faith to the next level during a Cursillo weekend. Through talks given by both lay and clergy, small group discussions, worship, and the sacraments, participants come away with the tools to help them lead a more Christ-centered life. After your weekend retreat, you will connect with people regularly through small groups to deepen your role as a disciple. Come and See! Interested in visiting a men’s or women’s small group? Groups meet weekly and the schedule can be found on our calendar.

Daughters of the King

Women gathered to “extend Christ’s kingdom through prayer, service, and evangelism.” This is an international women’s organization established in 1885. Their Rule of Life includes vows to daily prayer, service and evangelism. Meetings are held monthly where they plan service projects, discuss prayer needs, and review the book they use to help in our daily walk with Christ.

Labyrinth Guild

Parishioners share in the organization, preparation and learning of an ancient prayer tool – a LABYRINTH, and how experiencing its use can enhance a person’s prayer life. We have an outdoor pavement labyrinth on our parking lot that is utilized by members of the parish and surrounding community and is a gift to those seeking the opportunity to release, reflect and restore 24/7. A small, canvas Classic design labyrinth is also available for indoor activities. CLICK HERE for the online Labyrinth Home Study!
