Join us at 3:00 PM for World Labyrinth Day- a global event celebrating the labyrinth and join thousands around the world who will walk together for world peace.

You are invited to join us on Saturday, May 3rd, at 3:00 PM. We will begin in the Parish Hall and then walk out to our Labyrinth together.

Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the world participate in this moving meditation for world peace.

Labyrinths are an ancient archetype dating back 4,000 years or more. They are used symbolically, as a walking meditation, choreographed dance, or site of rituals and ceremony, among other things. Labyrinths are tools for personal, psychological, and spiritual transformation. They evoke metaphor, sacred geometry, spiritual pilgrimage, religious practice, mindfulness, environmental art, and community building.

We encourage teachers and families to explore labyrinths with children and teens as a creative activity, calming and centering space, and walking meditation.

Labyrinths have been created and walked by people of all ages as a mindfulness activity, to focus, increase connectedness, calm anxiety, quieten head chatter, and for mental/emotional well-being.

Parishioners share in the organization, preparation and learning of an ancient prayer tool – a LABYRINTH, and how experiencing its use can enhance a person’s prayer life. We have an outdoor pavement labyrinth on our parking lot that is utilized by members of the parish and surrounding community and is a gift to those seeking the opportunity to release, reflect and restore 24/7. A small, canvas Classic design labyrinth is also available for indoor activities. CLICK HERE for the online Labyrinth Home Study!
